  • Ross Milne

    In December 2019, Ross became the proud new owner of the Gym and Tonic Club, He has enjoyed over 5 years of experience within the industry, starting his career at the highly prestigious KX private members gym in South Kensington, before progressing to working within a small osteopathic practice in South London, allowing him to pursue his passion in injury rehabilitation. Ross has qualified from University College London with an MSc in Sports Medicine, Exercise and Health (2017) and Loughborough University (2014) with a BSc is Sports Science and management. Throughout these six years of study and a number of years of clinical practice, Ross has developed a broad treatment methodology which looks to incorporate aspects of Strength and Conditioning, Orthopedics, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy, all whilst working closely with leading professionals from each disciplines. Ross has a keen interest in injury prevention as well as the diagnosis management and treatment of both acute and chronic injuries. He has been working as a Personal Trainer since the summer of 2014 and advocates healthy and sustainable practices to ensure long term success.   While at University Ross qualified and began working as a sports massage therapist. He was involved in a variety of studies during his time as an undergraduate, including acting as a guinea pig for research into the effects of HIIT on fat loss and metabolism. Recently he completed his own thesis on post-surgical ACL rehabilitation and as a result takes a significant interest in this debilitating and often misunderstood injury.  Ross has completed a number of long distance cycle events including London to Paris and a solo trip from Lands’ end to John O’Groats. He hopes to complete a cross America cycle in the future. His own sporting past includes representing Loughborough University Hockey team, and is an avid golfer in his spare time.

  • Kimon Demetriou

    Manager / Personal Trainer

    Kimon is a qualified personal trainer and has always been passionate about all kinds of fitness. He has a Degree in Sport and Exercise Science. He is a huge functional training enthusiast and loves competing in Brazilian Jui-Jitsu. Kimon is extremely passionate about the positive effects training can have on a client’s life. He believes that exercise improves confidence, enhances will power and guarantees overall happiness. When asked how he keeps his love of fitness fresh, he states “Time and time again, I’m reminded of the positive effects exercise has on my own physical and psychological well-being, and my appreciation for what our bodies and minds can achieve is ever increasing. As a Personal Trainer, I want to share my enthusiasm, encourage a happier lifestyle, and help clients realise what their body is capable of. I believe that with the right training program, a bit of determination and support, anyone can achieve their goals”

  • John Agulia

    Personal Trainer

    John, or more commonly known as Trojan (A less than subtle nickname) started as a personal trainer at Gym and Tonic at the beginning of 2020. Originally from the Philippines, John moved to the UK as a child and was always an active and sporty kid. After qualifying as a personal trainer 3 years ago, he  has worked in a number of different gyms, and is now looking to progress and develop his knowledge in the area of Strength and Conditioning.

    John's own training consist of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Mill Hill as well as playing rugby for Tabard RFC in Radlett. He hopes in the future to work closely with athletes of both these sports. John currently runs the Strength Club at G&T, and is our go to on all things Strength Training.

    A big personality here at The Gym and Tonic Club, he's always smiling and happy to help.

    Personal Trainer

    With 12 years experience in the fitness field specialising in, group training, lower back pain as well as a personal training, Heli has had the opportunity to watch many transformations and not just physically but mentally which means a lot to her. Wanting to help people feel good about themselves, Heli believes fitness to be the tool to use. 'The human body is amazing and is designed to move regardless of the age, size or lifestyle. I believe in the mind and body connection during training so I design my sessions with a purpose behind each movement. To make the body not just stronger and fitter but also more flexible, agile and functional in every day life' Heli brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team here at The Gym and Tonic Club.
